Australian Government- Hearing Services Program
The Audiologists at Emmas Ears hold provider numbers to provide eligible patients with FREE/subsidised services under the Federal Governments Hearing Services Program (HSP).
To be eligible you must meet one of the below criteria:
• A Pensioner Concession Card Holder
• Receiving Sickness Allowance from Centrelink
• The holder of a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Gold Card issued for all conditions
• The holder of a DVA White Card issued for specific conditions that include hearing loss
• A dependent of a person in one of the above categories
• A member of the Australian Defence Force or
Private Healthfund
If you have private health insurance you may be eligible to received rebates directly from your health fund provider. We recommend that you check your specific entitlements with your health fund before receiving services or purchasing hearing aids.NSW Workcover
If you have experienced hearing loss as a result of a workplace related incident you may be eligible to receive compensation under the NSW Government WorkCover authority. Emmas Ears is an accredited Icare contracted service provider and is eligible to provide hearing services and devices to candids in accordance with the NSW Workcover Hearing Services Fee Schedule and regulations.NDIS
The Audiologists at Emmas Ears are all accredited NDIS agents who can work with clients eligible under NDIS (between the ages of 26 years and under 65 years).
